A workshop for anyone interested in making better photographs of people.
All levels of photography welcome. I recommend bringing a DSLR (or equivalent) to get the most out of the session (but not essential).
The main objective of the workshop is to introduce some essential techniques, including: choosing backgrounds, using natural light, and camera settings to building rapport, posing and culturing a collaborative approach.
The second objective is to practice implementing these techniques by creating your own portraits. You will get a chance to make portraits of people that you meet and models who attend.
You will also receive feedback on the portraits you create from the people who pose for you and your instructor.
There will be prizes for the best portraits.
